WATCH: Bryce Harper throws out Rizzo at home plate

A significant amount of Cubs fans were very into the idea of the team signing Bryce Harper over the winter. However, it was not meant to be as he got a gazillion dollars from the Phillies.

On Monday, Harper showed off his defensive abilities by gunning down Anthony Rizzo trying to score from third base on a caught fly ball in the bottom of the fifth inning.

FYI: The Cubs offense in 2019 has been fine without Harper's services.
