WATCH: Cubs players salute fans at Wrigley Field

The Chicago Cubs lost 3-1 on Sunday afternoon to the Reds.

However, they will be making the postseason for the third straight season after winning the National League Central division with a 92-70 record.

The Cubs players decided to recognize the home crowd after the game. In 2017, the Cubs had the fourth-highest attendance in history with 3,199,562 patrons at Wrigley Field.
