CHICAGO — Baseball players are people, too, and, just like a businessman in a suit making a morning Starbucks run, Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez swung by Starbucks for his morning coffee while dressed in his full getup. Streaming the hilarious footage on Instagram Live, Baez went to Starbucks prior to the Cubs' game against the New York Mets on Friday sporting his full uniform, including his hat and sunglasses.

Naturally, several Cubs fans were present at the coffee shop, and they recognized Baez. "Javy" spoke with several curious folks and even posed for a selfie with a fan while continuing to stream the Starbucks trip on social media. After receiving his order, Baez departed the cafe and got back into his vehicle to head to Wrigley Field. Baez definitely recognized the hilarity behind going out in public wearing his uniform, and, thankfully, he streamed it for the world to see.
