WATCH: Javier Baez talks about 'outswagging' competition at All-Star Game

CLEVELAND — Off the field, Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez is known for his exquisite style, from his unique haircuts to his fancy bling, and, while making an appearance on the MLB-themed talk show Intentional Talk, Baez discussed what he planned to bring to the table at the MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday.

Baez is great fans with fellow Puerto Rican shortstop Francisco Lindor of the Cleveland Indians, who is also known for stylish tastes, and "Javy" told Intentional Talk hosts Chris Rose and Kevin Millar that he would try his best to "outswag" Lindor. In an effort to upstage the hometown hero at Progressive Field, Baez gave Lindor a run for his money by fine-tuning his fohawk and showing up at the pregame red-carpet event donning some flashy jewelry and a spiffy gray blazer that Baez revealed to be a tribute to Michael Jackson. With that being said, perhaps Baez's nickname should be changed to "Smooth Criminal" because he certainly stole the show by "outswagging" the competition.
