There is some baseball being played currently, mostly scrimmages around major league baseball, including the Chicago Cubs.
During Sunday's Cubs intrasquad scrimmage, Javy Baez smacked an RBI double against starter Tyle Chatwood down the right-field line. Cubs manager David Ross was heard cheering on Kyle Schwarber to try to score from first base. Even in practice, Rossy is really stressing the extra effort plays that can mean the difference between winning and losing. Schwarber ended up only making it to third base but scored when the next batter Jason Heyward had an RBI groundout.
