The Cubs narrowly defeated the Red Sox 3-2 on Monday night.
Cole Hamels hit a homer and David Bote nailed a go-ahead homer to put the Cubs up for good. However, the highlight of the game for some that were watching on television was Cubs broadcaster Jim Deshaies' reaction to a line-drive foul ball hit by Javier Baez. Deshaies had that deer in the headlight look. Obviously, that would have probably been my look too so I'm not going to clown him. Deshaies was a good sport about the short clip being put up on social media by the team. "This is what happens when you let the ball play you," he posted.
