Cubs slugger Kris Bryant took batting practice session today at 12 p.m. CST in downtown Chicago. Bryant hit baseballs into the Chicago River in the same BP routine you’d see at Wrigley Field. The Urban Kayak and Harbor Safety Committee will be in the river as part of the cleaning efforts.

Check out the following video of Bryant taking his unique batting practice.

In 2017, Bryant is batting .267 with four RBI and a .371 on-base percentage. During Monday's home opener, he had a crucial RBI double in the Cubs 3-2 walk-off win.
