CHICAGO — With his second home run of the afternoon, Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant pulled off his third multi-homer outing of the season. Bryant connected on a fastball thrown by Pittsburgh Pirates starter Trevor Williams and sent it out to left-center field for a solo shot.

Bryant ripped a 3-run blast in the first inning on Sunday, and his solo dinger in the third inning made the score 5-4 in favor of the Pirates. The 379-footer at Wrigley Field gave Bryant his 31st homer of the year. In Bryant's MVP-winning 2016 season, the slugger hit 39 home runs.
