CHICAGO — Chicago Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber showed off his defensive aptitude by covering a lot of ground and laying out for a phenomenal diving catch on Sunday. Robbing Washington Nationals shortstop Trea Turner of a hit, Schwarber flashed the leather on the catch.

The snag at Wrigley Field was made in the top of the third, with Schwarber racing in to have a chance at catching the line drive. Schwarber left his feet on the diving catch, which he secured just before the baseball descended onto the grass.
