CHICAGO — Driving a 2-run blast to the opposite field, Chicago Cubs left fielder Kyle Schwarber increased the Cubs' lead over the San Francisco Giants to four runs on Wednesday. The dinger at Wrigley Field came off Giants starter Dereck Rodriguez in the bottom of the third and put the Cubs up 6-2.

Sailing 407 feet out to left-center, the no-doubter plated Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo, who led off the half-inning with a single. Scorched off the bat at 104 miles per hour, the 2-run dinger marked Schwarber's 29th long ball of the season.
