WATCH: Lester makes Lorenzo Cain swing and miss so badly that he falls

A nasty cutter thrown by Chicago Cubs workhorse Jon Lester resulted in an embarrassing whiff for Milwaukee Brewers center fielder Lorenzo Cain on Sunday. Cain swung at the 88-mile-per-hour inside pitch and missed so badly that he fell to the dirt and nearly came out of his cleats.

The good-natured Cain was able to laugh it off and share a smile with Lester while getting back on his feet. However, Cain did not experience an increase in good fortune during the rest of the at-bat, as he ended up swinging at strike three as part of a "strike him out, throw him out" double play that saw Brewers shortstop Orlando Arcia get thrown out on a steal attempt to end the inning.
