Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Jon Lester can handle a bat.

Lester smoked an RBI double to put the Cubs up 1-0 in the second inning against the Pirates on Monday. He is currently batting an amazing .667 on the season.

Later in the inning, he slid home to score the third run on a Ben Zobrist single.
