CHICAGO — For the third straight game, Chicago Cubs right fielder Nicholas Castellanos skied a first-inning home run on Wednesday. Taking San Francisco Giants starter Dereck Rodríguez for a 2-run blast in the bottom of the first, Castellanos made the score 2-2.

The jack out to left field served as Castellanos' eighth home run since being acquired by the Cubs. Carrying 362 feet, the 2-run round-tripper at Wrigley Field was lofted off the bat at an angle of 38 degrees. Castellanos became the first player in Cubs history to yard in the first inning of three consecutive games.
