CHICAGO — Essentially icing the Chicago Cubs' 8-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Monday, Cubs right fielder Nicholas Castellanos drilled a 2-run double to deep center field in the bottom of the eighth. The 2-bagger culminated in the 8-2 final score at Wrigley Field.
Castellanos now has 55 doubles on the season, and the one that he off Reds relief pitcher Jimmy Herget on Monday plated Nico Hoerner and Ian Happ. Since being acquired by the Cubs at the trade deadline, Castellanos has racked up 35 RBI.
