MLB is proposing several drastic changes to baseball for the future of their game.

MLB proposed several new rules including requiring pitchers to face a minimum of three batters to speed up the pace of play.

The Players Union has proposed a universal designated hitter since there are so many interleague games during the regular season. I don't think it will happen this season, but it will be interesting to watch.
