PITTSBURGH — The number two served as the theme of Chicago Cubs catcher Victor Caratini's seventh-inning home run against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday. The 2-run blast served as Caratini's second home run of the night and also provided Caratini with a dinger apiece from both sides of the plate.

After smashing a go-ahead blast from the left side of the dish earlier in the game at PNC Park, the switch-hitting Caratini went yard from the right side of the plate off Pirates reliever Michael Feliz. The 408-foot round-tripper plated Willson Contreras and put the Cubs up 5-4. Caratini entered the contest with two homers on the season, and his first career multi-homer game saw that total doubled to four.
