WATCH: Willson Contreras smashes homer for career-best mark

Cubs catcher Willson Contreras smashed a solo homer deep into the bleachers in left-center in the first inning against the Pittsburgh Pirates to put the Cubs within one run at 4-3.

The homer was his 22nd of the season which is a new career-best for the young slugger. Contreras had his previous high mark of 21 homers back in 2017.
