HE'S BACK!

Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo is back working out on Saturday after being sidelined since Tuesday with lower back tightness.

“Got some swings off and felt good,” Ross said to the media Saturday. “Everything’s continued to move in the right direction. And we’ll continue to build him up. He’s itching to see some live pitching here soon, so we’ll get that in the works.”

This back issue is pretty normal for Rizzo as it tightens up a little occasionally during the last few seasons.

Rizzo was a bleacher bum the last few days as he watched some of the recent scrimmages from the Wrigley Field outfield.

Today he was back at batting practice and hitting homers including this one, courtesy of the Marquee Sports Network:

Reliever Kyle Ryan is also back in action at Wrigley today:
