Cardinals want to prevent Cubs celebration at Busch

The Cubs will begin a series with the rival Cardinals on Monday at Busch Stadium.

A 3-game Cubs sweep over the Cardinals would give the Cubs a playoff berth and celebration in front of the rival fans in St. Louis.

One Cardinals pitcher doesn't want this to happen in front of his team and fans.

"You never want anyone celebrating on your home field, even if they are not division rivals or anything," said Cardinals pitcher Lance Lynn to reporters. "You don't want anybody to clinch here. That's definitely something you don't want to see."

The Cubs currently have a 16-game lead over the Cardinals.
