Cubs-Phillies game had highest TV rating in 7 years

The Chicago Cubs defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 6-4 on Monday evening, and tons of television viewers were watching.

The CSN Chicago telecast had the highest rating since August 2009 with a 6.0 average and a peak over 271K homes.

The multiple story lines with outfielder Jorge Soler's injury, outfielder Jason Heyward's 100th career homer, pitcher Jon Lester's gem of a performance and the Phillies late 9th inning comeback all added up to must-see television.
