The Chicago Cubs have clinched the home-field advantage throughout the National League Championship Series after the Washington Nationals loss 6-5 in extra-innings on Friday to the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Cubs have an MLB-best 98-55 record and also 56-23 home record at Wrigley Field. Against teams with a winning record in the National League, the Cubs are 23-9 at Wrigley Field.
