ESPN released its latest MLB Power Rankings and the Chicago Cubs dropped two spots to #3 overall with their 53-35 record.

The Cubs are currently sitting in first-place in the National League Central with a seven-game lead over the St. Louis Cardinals.

"The Cubs have gone 26-27 since beginning their season 27-8, and they'll return from the break with a tough series against the Rangers," ESPN said.

The top 10 teams in ESPN's MLB rankings were the San Francisco Giants, Washington Nationals, Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians, Texas Rangers, Toronto Blue Jays, Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox, and Houston Astros.

Seven Cubs players will play in the 2016 All-Star game at 8 p.m. EST on Fox at Petco Park in San Diego, California.
