Cubs favorites to win 2016 World Series

The Chicago Cubs are off to a hot start and own the major league's best record at 19-6 and have yet to lose consecutive games this season.

It is the best start through 25 games for the Cubs since the 1907 season.

According to Bovada, the Cubs are the favorites to win the World Series for the first time since 1908 with odds currently at 5-1.

After the Cubs, the Nationals, Mets, Red Sox, Blue Jays and White Sox are close behind in the odds to win it all.

The Cubs will go for a three-game sweep of the Pirates on Wednesday afternoon at 11:35 CT.
