Cubs lineup vs. Indians in World Series Game 1

The Cubs announced their lineup for Tuesday night's World Series game one against the Cleveland Indians.

The big news is that Kyle Schwarber will be the DH and will be batting fifth protecting Ben Zobrist in the clean up position. Schwarber has not played in a major league game since April 7.

Chris Coghlan is also a surprise start at right field in place of Jason Heyward. It will be the first postseason start for Coghlan in 2016.

Jon Lester will be the game one starter for the Cubs. He is 19-5 with 2.44 ERA with 197 strikeouts and a 1.02 WHIP this season. In three postseason starts in 21 innings, he gave up only 14 hits, two runs, two walks, and 14 strikeouts going 2-0. He has been a stud in the postseason for the Cubs.

In three World Series starts [Red Sox] in 21 innings, he is 3-0 with a 0.43 ERA giving up only one run.

Lester will be opposed by Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber of the Indians.
