ESPN released its latest MLB Power Rankings on Monday and the Cubs are on top at the #1 spot with a 9-3 record and are currently sitting in first-place in the NL Central.

"A big key to the early success has been the Cubs' ability to draw walks and make the opposing pitchers work deep into the count. The Cubs have drawn an MLB-best 63 walks so far," ESPN.com said.

The Chicago Cubs will start a pivotal three-game rivalry matchup with the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium on Monday night at 7:05 CT.

The top 10 teams in ESPN's MLB rankings were the Chicago Cubs, Kansas City Royals, Washington Nationals, San Francisco Giants, Los Angeles Dodgers, Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox, St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers.
