Cubs ranked #1 in ESPN's Power Rankings

ESPN has released his latest MLB Power Rankings on Monday morning and the Cubs are still on top at the #1 spot with a 27-9 record and currently sitting in first-place in the NL Central with an impressive eight-game lead over Pittsburgh.

"Following a series win against Pittsburgh, the Cubs have played to a 7-2 record so far against the Pirates and Cardinals combined," ESPN.com said.

The top 10 teams in ESPN's MLB rankings were the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox, Washington Nationals, Baltimore Orioles, New York Mets, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants.

National League Central duo St. Louis Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Pirates were ranked #11 and #12 respectively.

The Chicago Cubs start a three-game road series (5/17-5/19) vs. the Milwaukee Brewers (#27 overall) on Tuesday at 7:10 CT.
