Cubs reportedly have 'multiple NL teams' offering deals for Kris Bryant

The trade rumors continue with Kris Bryant.

NBC Sports Chicago personality David Kaplan is reporting on Wednesday morning that 'multiple NL teams' have contacted the Chicago Cubs about standout slugger Kris Bryant.

"With Betts now traded I have confirmed multiple NL teams have contacted Cubs about Bryant offering packages of prospects/young players," Kaplan posted on Twitter. "Unsure if a deal gets done before Opening Day. If one doesn't Cubs probably hang on to him until July trade deadline."

Teams that have had reported interest at one point or another has been the Phillies, Nationals, Padres and Braves.

The 3-time All-Star hit .281 with 31 homers and 77 RBIs this past season and will make $18.6 million in 2020.

During his five-year major league career, he has hit .284 with 138 homers and had a .901 OPS.
