Thursday is National Hot Dog Day for all you hot dog and wiener lovers out there. An estimated 818 hot dogs per second will be consumed by Americans during the Summer months, and an average American will eat over 1,240 hot dogs in their lifetime according to a study by Ballpark franks.

The Chicago Cubs have decided to honor this week by partnering with Vienna Beef and Giordano's to make a fantastic Deep Dish Chicago Style Dog Pizza. It is a Vienna Beef hot dog, baked inside of Giordano's crust with tomato sauce, cheese, mustard, onions, peppers, and pickles.

The hot-dog pizza hybrid combo will be sold during the Cubs six-game homestand from July 15-20.
