The latest ticket prices to get in the World Series is around $2,983.46, according to TicketIQ on Tuesday. The prices have also been higher than the last four Super Bowls reportedly.

Standing room only tickets are going for around $2,225.

That is quite the wad of cash regardless of how long it has been since the Cubs or the Indians have made the Fall Classic. Even more interesting is one fans recent purchase to see the Cubs-Indians in Game 4 on Saturday night. According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, A fan bought four tickets that were located five rows behind home plate for $64,000 + fees on StubHub.

Well, with that staggering amount of dough, obviously ticket prices have skyrocketed past the normal fan's budget.
