Cubs News: Joe Maddon gives update on Tommy La Stella

Cubs skipper Joe Maddon told 670 The Score on Wednesday afternoon that utility infielder Tommy La Stella is getting ready to report to the Double-A Tennessee Smokies.

"Tommy is doing well, he'll soon be ready to report to AA"," Maddon said.

La Stella is batting .295 with two homers, eight RBIs, and an impressive .388 on-base percentage on the season. For his career, he is a .263 hitter with four homers, 50 RBIS, and a .341 on-base percentage.
