Cubs starting pitcher Jon Lester was named National League pitcher of the month on Monday.

For the 8th start in the row, Lester gave up 0 or 1 run per start. Lester is 19-5 with a 2.44 ERA with 197 strikeouts and a sparkling 1.02 WHIP this season.
