Cubs News: Kyle Hendricks named NL Co-Player of the Week

Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks was named as the National League Co-Player of the week with Ichiro Suzuki on Monday. In his two starts last week, he pitched 16.1 innings, nine strikeouts and only gave up one run (0.55 ERA).

Hendricks is 11-7 with an impressive 2.17 ERA, 112 strikeouts, and a 1.02 WHIP on the season.

Remember this is the Cubs fifth starter we are talking about.
