Cubs News: Lackey to Bethancourt: "You better F---ing RUN!"

Chicago Cubs veteran pitcher John Lackey pitched eight strong innings giving up just three hits and one run against the San Diego Padres on Wednesday night.

However, Lackey's one blemish during the outing was a slow curveball that Christian Bethancourt crushed 445 feet over the left-field bleachers.

Lackey was upset that Bethancourt watched his massive homer for a few moments in the batter's box and Lackey was seen on TV saying: "You better [expletive] run!"

“He’ll learn,” Lackey said to reporters after the Cubs suffered the 1-0 loss to the Padres.
