Report: Cubs to have World Series Watch Party at Wrigley

by - Senior Editor -

The Chicago Cubs will have a World Series Watch Party for Games 6 and for Game 7 [if necessary] according to Paul Sullivan from the Chicago Tribune. Sullivan spoke to multiple Chicago cops and they confirmed that there is a Watch Party in the works for Tuesday night's World Series game.

The Cleveland Indians have had Watch parties for the away games this week, and it was well received by the Indians fans at their home stadium. The attendance for their three World Series parties were 67,218 fans and the $5 ticket to get in went to help various charities.

No word yet on how much it would cost to attend the festive event in iconic Wrigley Field. Regardless, if this report is accurate, the Cubs fans around Wrigleyville will be out in full force at bars, restaurants, etc. There is no official word yet from the Cubs.

Game 6 of the World Series will start at 7:08 CT on Tuesday night.
