Cubs News: Rizzo finishes 4th place in NL MVP voting

Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo finished a respectable fourth-place in the National League MVP voting on Thursday night. His teammate Kris Bryant won the award with 29 out of 30 first-place votes.

Rizzo batted .292 with 43 doubles, 32 homers, and 109 RBIs on the season.

He was already named to the Rawlings Platinum Award, Gold Glove Award, Defensive Player of the Year at 1B, Silver Slugger Award earlier in the offseason.

The Top four in the voting were Bryant, Murphy, Seager, and Rizzo.
