Cubs slugger Anthony Rizzo was named the Cubs winner of the Heart and Hustle Award on Tuesday as he was presented with the award on the field before the game.

The award is voted on by alumni and active major league players and is presented annually to a player that "demonstrates a passion for the game of baseball and best embodies the values, spirit, and traditions of the game."

Rizzo is involved in many charities including the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation which non-profit organization raises money for cancer research and provides support to children and their families battling the disease.

He also won the 2015 Heart and Hustle Award for the majors last season.
