Rizzo wins Best Social Media Personality MLB Award

Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo won the Best Social Media Personality MLB Award on Friday morning.

Rizzo had a tribute Instagram account detailing Grandpa Rossy's final year this season as well as the co-founder of #Bryzzo with Kris Bryant.

"The biggest award of the year," Rizzo tweeted on Friday afternoon. "I couldn't have done it without YOU guys. Thanks for following. Bigger and better things to come this year."

Rizzo batted .292 with 43 doubles, 32 homers, and 109 RBIs on the season and was 4th in the voting for National League MVP on Thursday. His offseason he has already been named to the Rawlings Platinum Award, Gold Glove Award, Defensive Player of the Year at 1B, and Silver Slugger Award.
