The Chicago Cubs defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 2-1 in thirteen innings and one of the main reasons was the play of veteran catcher David Ross.

Ross threw out three baserunners in a game where runs were hard to come by.

For the season, Ross is batting .228 with three homers, 12 RBIs and an on-base percentage of .338.
