Promising Chicago Cubs triple-A pitcher Carl Edwards Jr. had the taste of the major leagues in a late call-up on September 7th.

However, his taste for McDonald's food might be even greater.

Edwards used to consume 20-pieces of chicken nuggets, large french fries, a banana fruit smoothie and a large sweet tea right before he would take the mound.

In 2015, he was 5-3 with a 2.77 ERA in 55.1 innings and only gave up 26 hits while striking out 75.
