WATCH: Jason Heyward's improved batting swing

Cubs right fielder Jason Heyward has been re-working his swing with Cubs assistant coach Darnell McDonald during the offseason in Arizona for the upcoming season.

Heyward batted .230 with seven homers, 49 RBIs and .306 on-base percentage in 2016.

As you can tell by the following video, it's a shorter swing path through the zone so hopefully, he will be able to catch up with more fastballs than in 2016.

The second video posted is just a Happy Gilmore type walk-up swing but it's still pretty cool.
