WATCH: Ridiculous defensive web gem for Javier Baez

Cubs utility infielder Javier Baez had another web gem against the Giants on Tuesday night. He somehow was able to throw the ball 72 MPH to first base while he was on the ground according to Statcast.

The play went under review and the baserunner was safe but it was still a thing of beauty.

Check out the short clip below as the announcers went crazy on the play.

"A ridiculous throw and a ridiculous play, that's barely humanly possible," Matt Vasgersian said.
