WATCH: Russell amazingly hits mascot with his bat

You can't make up some of the wild things that happened on Thursday night in the Cubs game vs. the Diamondbacks.

Possibly the strangest was shortstop Addison Russell launching his bat accidentally into the stands and it nailing the Diamondback's mascot named D. Baxter the Bobcat.

Check out the confusion on the mascot when he understands what just happened to him.
