Many are trying to do the best they can during this global pandemic, including gestures of kindness throughout the sports world.

Chicago Cubs slugger Kyle Schwarber donated pizza to Chicago's first responders on Friday.

"Hey, ya'll. This is Kyle Schwarber," he said in the following video. "I just want to give a big shout out to Wrigleyville police department and fire department for serving the community during these hard times. It's not ideal, but we really do appreciate what you guys are doing out there and making sure everyone doing their part to stay safe and getting everything back on their feet. Thank you guys again. Hopefully, I get to see you guys soon. Go Cubs!"

Nice job by Kyle Schwarber and Cubs charities in making some of the first responders some happiness during a difficult time.
