WATCH: Umpire rings up Rizzo with two strikes

The Cubs (4-1) are taking on the Diamondbacks (2-4) on Sunday afternoon and the home plate umpire mistakenly called first baseman Anthony Rizzo out due a strikeout in the first inning but there were only two strikes.

This is a very rare occurrence by a little league umpire and even more embarrassing in the majors.

Everything ended up properly for Rizzo as he walked to conclude the at-bat.

Rizzo is the first player in Cubs history to record nine RBIs in the club's first three games of the season.
