Anthony Rizzo scratched from Cubs lineup

The Chicago Cubs will play a spring training doubleheader with the first game against the Cincinnati Reds at 2:05 pm CT on Thursday afternoon.

Cubs star first baseman Anthony Rizzo is a late scratch because of tightness in his lower back. He is listed day-to-day with the injury and it is nothing serious according to the Cubs.

In 2016, Rizzo batted .292 with 32 homers, 109 RBIs, and had an impressive .385 on-base percentage.
