"It is with great sadness we announce that our owner and the heart of Murphy’s Bleachers, Beth Murphy, peacefully passed away early this morning," they posted. "The Murphy family and all of us here would like to thank everyone for their support during this difficult time. May She Rest In Peace." Murphy's Bleachers, located across the street from Wrigley Field, has been a staple in the community for decades, catering to Cubs fans with pre and post-game drinks, food, and camaraderie. Beth Murphy took over the helm of the bar after her husband, Jim Murphy, passed away in 2003.
