Video Description: On Thursday, May 14, pro third baseman Kris Bryant and quarterback Jared Goff are taking on an entirely new kind of sporting challenge — joining a group of racing legends including Travis Pastrana, Sebastien Loeb, Ken Roczen and more for the debut of Red Bull Homestretch, a six-week series of virtual races in Gran Turismo Sport that put fun in the driver’s seat. There are no elaborate sim setups, just PlayStation 4s equipped with Gran Turismo Sport and race wheels, and a series of races and unique challenges built for the drivers to get loose, have fun and leave it all on the track.

So how do football and baseball stars get ready to join the race grid? They train with an expert driver who knows the ins and outs of racing in real life, and online. Scott Speed, the former F1, NASCAR, IndyCar and current rallycross driver, linked up with Goff and Bryant to show them everything they needed to know to keep up with the pace of Red Bull Homestretch.
