CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs will welcome NL Central rival Milwaukee Brewers for a four-game series at Wrigley Field starting Thursday, April 26, and concluding Sunday, April 29, with Kids Run the Bases postgame. The homestand will end with a visit by the Colorado Rockies Monday, April 30, through Wednesday, May 2.

The homestand includes three Community Nights presented by PEAK in the ballpark. On April 26, the Cubs are offering fans specially priced tickets for Autism Awareness Night. A portion of the net proceeds from Autism Awareness Night will be donated to Autism Speaks. On April 30, the Cubs are offering specially priced tickets to local

restauranteurs, bartenders and other industry professionals for Industry Night presented by Jim Beam. Fans age 21 and older who purchase an Industry Night game ticket will receive Cubs-themed texting gloves presented by Jim Beam. The last Community Night of the homestand will include Girl Scout Night Tuesday, May 1. Each Girl Scout Night ticket includes a Cubs-themed scout patch featuring Clark the Cub. In addition, a portion of the net proceeds from Girl Scout Night will be donated to Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana.

Tickets remain available at www.cubs.com or 800-THE-CUBS (800-843-2827). Highlights of the homestand follow.

Food and Beverage Offerings:

Wrigley Field will once again serve foodie spins on ballpark favorites this season. The Cubs and hospitality partner Levy are focusing on freshly prepared, chef-driven menu items including house-smoked short ribs and pork shoulder; house-made pickles, chips, slaws and condiments; and creative twists on classic Chicago flavors.

Fully renovated concession stands and new cocktail and wine bars will open throughout the spring, offering fans an elevated food and beverage experience. For more information, visit www.cubs.com/food.

Hot Doug’s continues its rotating selections on Platform 14, located behind the center field scoreboard in the Budweiser Bleachers. Served this homestand are the Sergio Mitre, a gyro sausage with tzatziki, feta cheese and chopped tomatoes; the Pete LaCock, a ribeye steak sausage with horseradish cream and blue cheese; and the Glenallen Hill, a spicy Vienna Beef Polish sausage with honey mustard, sauerkraut and smoked gouda cheese.

Cubs Charities and Community Events:

Cubs manager Joe Maddon will once again support Chicago nonprofit organizations through his “Respect Community” charity T-shirt initiative. After every Friday home game, Maddon will represent a different Chicago nonprofit by wearing the organization’s T-shirt during his postgame press conference. Joe Maddon’s “Respect Community” shirt on Friday, April 27, will represent Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Chicago, which supports local initiatives in primarily low- and moderate-income neighborhoods. Their primary goal is to create socially and economically vibrant and sustainable neighborhoods, with living wage jobs, local businesses, good schools, quality housing, reliable transportation and needed amenities.

Before Friday’s game, Cubs Charities together with Archer Manor Little League will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Archer Park to celebrate a $180,000 Cubs Charities Diamond Project grant to support field upgrades and the installation of lights this summer.

On Saturday, April 28, Cubs Charities with help from Cubs General Manager Jed Hoyer and Clark the Cub will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Welles Park to celebrate a $45,000 Cubs Charities Diamond Project grant to support the baseball league and scoreboards.

On Monday, April 30, the Cubs will host a “Shred Hate” bullying prevention school assembly with Major League Baseball, ESPN and X Games. The Cubs, one of several “Shred Hate” MLB clubs, will encourage students to continue helping prevent bullying in their school. The assembly will create a positive and motivational atmosphere while sharing messages and tips on how they can continue to “choose kindness” throughout their school. Prosser Career Academy is one of 18 schools in Chicago that have adopted the “Shred Hate” curriculum, which has proven to reduce incidents of bullying in school.

On Tuesday, May 1, Cubs Charities and Friends of Amundsen High School will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Winnemac Park. Together, Congressman Mike Quigley, Alderman Pat O’Connor and Cubs Wives will celebrate upgrades at three playing fields supported by Cubs Charities Diamond Project grants totaling $250,000.

Later on Tuesday, Cubs Charities will recognize 2017 Diamond Project capital grantees during a pregame check presentation with representatives from each of the 12 projects. Cubs Charities has granted more than $870,000 to expand opportunities for children to play baseball and softball, create or preserve green space in underserved neighborhoods and foster a love of the game.

Before Tuesday’s game, Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber will be recognized by Ignite the Spirit, the Chicago Fire Department Charity, for his work through his Neighborhood Heroes campaign, which improves the quality of life for first responders through education, essential tools and experiences in their efforts to better serve their communities. Last year, Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes donated $25,000 to Ignite the Spirit.
