Cubs announce 28-man roster for playoff series against Marlins |

CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs have set their 28-man roster in advance of their Wild Card round series opener this afternoon vs. the Miami Marlins at Wrigley Field.
The Cubs have activated infielder Ildemaro Vargas off of the 10-day injured list and selected the contract of catcher Josh Phegley from the club’s South Bend Alternate Site. To make room for Phegley on the 40-man roster, left-handed pitcher Josh Osich has been designated for assignment.
