A few newsworthy items are coming out during the 2020 Cubs Convention on Saturday.

The Cubs announced that broadcasters Jim Deshaies and Len Kasper would be back in the booth plus studio host Cole Wright and sideline reporter Taylor McGregor working during games for the new Marquee Sports Network.

"Looking forward to my 16th season w/@Cubs, my 8th w/@JimDeshaies & my 1st w/this awesome new network," Kasper posted on Twitter Friday afternoon. "The programming will be 2nd-to none, the people even better. Can’t wait to call the 1st game in February."

Former Cubs pitchers Ryan Dempster and Rick Sutcliffe have been hired as studio/game analysts too.

Other on-air personalities included in the network will be Mark DeRosa, Carlos Pena, Dan Plesac, Jason Hammel, Chris Myers, and Doug Glanville.

The new network is slated to be on-air on Feb. 20.
